WHAT: Free swim lessons in Manatee county. Yes, FREE. The only thing you need to do is register.

WHY: Drowning is the leading cause of death in children 1-4 years old. Drowning remains in the top 5 causes of unintentional injury-related death from birth to 5 years old.

WHEN: Summer session will start in June and run through the first week of August. Lessons are held at GT Bray Pool in West Bradenton.

WHO: Lessons are currenly being offered to underserved students in our community who do not have access to swim lessons for a variety of reasons.

HOW: To join you must complete the waiver and registration. Registration will open for Summer 2025 classes in Spring of 2025

Hi! I am Amanda. I have taught swim lessons since 2013. I have always loved teaching swimming. It’s been a goal of mine to be able to give away free swim lessons. Thanks to Step Into Swim and their generous grant I am now able to do this!
